An author reached out to me to design tarot cards featuring characters from their book. After reading the novel and understanding the characters’ backstories, I want to portray them through the symbolism of the tarot cards. We decided to create the Moon, Death, and the Lovers cards to help represent the characters while inviting viewers to make their own interpretations.
